Charles Altman, an attorney with
significant experience in real estate lending and the
negotiation and closing of billions of dollars of mortgage loans, is an Adjunct
Assistant Professor at the N.Y.U. Schack Real Estate Institute where he teaches real estate law and development in the Masters
Program. Prof. Altman has also been a visiting Adjunct Professor at the
Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture.
Charles Altman is active in the New
York City Bar Association (NYCBA) and serves on the executive committee of the Real
Estate Transactions Section of the American Association of Law Schools (AALS).
He is Chair of a joint program of the NYCBA Structured Finance Committee and the AALS Real Estate Transactions Section. Best Practices - Teaching Real Estate Securitization in Law Schools
Mr. Altman holds a J. D. from N.Y.U.
School of Law and is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony
Brook with a B.A. in Economics.
